I Know It's been over a month!!

Not too much to speak about. Just been working and trying to keep up with everyday life. I love that Kyle plays football...but when practices last until 6:30, then we have to come home, figure out dinner, fight about homework, eat dinner, clean up, it seems that Kyle or I don't get to bed at a decent time, and the next morning, we are both really cranky. He only has two more games, and then he is done...at least with the late practices. He will still be practicing and lifting weights, but it will just be during his 6th period PE class...and then he will take the bus home....so maybe our life will get back to normal....whatever normal is!! Last nights Varsity game (Halloween) was televised on FSN West...and it was a terrible game. We lost 56-14 I think!! It has been a tough week for our Varsity team, as one of our players dad, had a massive heart attack last Saturday, and it has just been day to day on his recovery. As of last night, he is still in a coma, but making some signs of recovery. He is now breathing on his own, and opened his eyes once. So I don't think our boys had there hearts in the game..more with thinking about Bobby and his family. Bobby did play last night, and he did a great job...made many tackles and recovered a fumble. All of our thoughts and prayers are with the Derrifield Family. Get well soon Bob, We love you!!! We did Trunk or Treating in the parking lot before the game, for whoever wanted to come...we were trying to get people with younger kids to still come to the game. Not a real big turn out, but enough. It was really cute seeing the costumes, and the kids really were enjoying it. Got a call from my friend Geoff, who I hadn't talked to for a few months. Talked to him for awhile before the game, and said he called to tell me he and Ginger(his long time girlfriend) are engaged. Date has not been set yet for the wedding!!! Congratulations Geoff and Ginger...may you have a long and happy life together!! Well, I guess I should shower and get to the market, seeing as we have no food in the house, at least that is what I am being told!! Kyle just poured himself a bowl of cereal, then realized there was no milk...and he was the one that finished the milk yesterday!! DUH!!! I know I say this all the time...but I will try to blog more...Just figure that Katrina does enough for both of us...and her stories are so much more entertaining!! LOL!! Talk to you soon!!!
