Orange County Marketplace

So I was really wanting to go to the Orange County Marketplace, and I called Katrina and said lets go!! She had to get Trevor picked up from his snowboarding weekend and didn't think she could go. She called Trevor, and he said he and Mikey would go, so she told me to wake up Kyle and make him go too!! I didn't think he would go as Kyle REALLY likes to sleep. But he got up and went too. The boys went off on their own and Kat and I shopped and had a great time. The boys all decided they needed to buy some new shades...I mean it was such a deal...buy one get one Free. Yea, I am sure they are $3 sunglasses and they paid $10 for 2 pairs. Go figure. Check them out...are they all STUDS or what??? LMAO

Coming home from the O.C. Marketplace

Our First League Win!!! :)

So, our JV team just won their first League game yesterday, and it was an awesome game. We were down 12-0 and by half time were were ahead 21-12!! I told Rick I wasn't going to go, as it seems we do well up to half time and then in the second half we blow it....and yes, I get to the games usually right after half time!!! But he told me to knock it off, and get to the game. I did, and we still won...but wait...there was less then 2 minutes left in the game and Murrieta Valley scored a touch down, and now it was 21-19. Murrieta Valley did an onside kick and recovered the ball...now they could score again and win!! I was so nervous. They (MV) threw a pass and we intercepted it...wow!! You should have seen our team...they were so happy..they almost forgot to go back on the field to finish the game...really...the Coaches had to yell at the offense to get out there!! It was really funny!! So we hiked the ball once, took a knee, and the game was over!!! WAY TO GO TITANS!!! We had a pizza party already planned for after the game, but it is always so much better to go after a win!!! I am sad that next Thursday is Kyle's last game. It has been a real fun (and busy) season. The pictures are Kyle and Shay being weird as usual, and Kyle and 4 of his football buddies...Dusty, Shay, Chris, Kyle and Kohlton...we(Thanks Kat!!) did one looking old(like a picture in a newspaper) and the same picture regular. Funny thing is...I took the same picture last year, and they are posing almost the same, and they didn't even have last years picture to look at....it was kinda weird.

I Know It's been over a month!!

Not too much to speak about. Just been working and trying to keep up with everyday life. I love that Kyle plays football...but when practices last until 6:30, then we have to come home, figure out dinner, fight about homework, eat dinner, clean up, it seems that Kyle or I don't get to bed at a decent time, and the next morning, we are both really cranky. He only has two more games, and then he is done...at least with the late practices. He will still be practicing and lifting weights, but it will just be during his 6th period PE class...and then he will take the bus home....so maybe our life will get back to normal....whatever normal is!! Last nights Varsity game (Halloween) was televised on FSN West...and it was a terrible game. We lost 56-14 I think!! It has been a tough week for our Varsity team, as one of our players dad, had a massive heart attack last Saturday, and it has just been day to day on his recovery. As of last night, he is still in a coma, but making some signs of recovery. He is now breathing on his own, and opened his eyes once. So I don't think our boys had there hearts in the game..more with thinking about Bobby and his family. Bobby did play last night, and he did a great job...made many tackles and recovered a fumble. All of our thoughts and prayers are with the Derrifield Family. Get well soon Bob, We love you!!! We did Trunk or Treating in the parking lot before the game, for whoever wanted to come...we were trying to get people with younger kids to still come to the game. Not a real big turn out, but enough. It was really cute seeing the costumes, and the kids really were enjoying it. Got a call from my friend Geoff, who I hadn't talked to for a few months. Talked to him for awhile before the game, and said he called to tell me he and Ginger(his long time girlfriend) are engaged. Date has not been set yet for the wedding!!! Congratulations Geoff and Ginger...may you have a long and happy life together!! Well, I guess I should shower and get to the market, seeing as we have no food in the house, at least that is what I am being told!! Kyle just poured himself a bowl of cereal, then realized there was no milk...and he was the one that finished the milk yesterday!! DUH!!! I know I say this all the time...but I will try to blog more...Just figure that Katrina does enough for both of us...and her stories are so much more entertaining!! LOL!! Talk to you soon!!!
